Job Summary:
The EEG Technologist Registered role is based in the clinical setting and involves performing standard and complex neurodiagnostic procedures for pediatric and adult patients. This position supports the department's goals by ensuring accurate documentation and delivering technical assistance. The role requires working during daytime hours, with on-call responsibilities, to meet patient needs and support departmental operations.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 5 days per week. Weekends and holidays as needed. On call required.
  • Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; minimum of one year of inpatient and outpatient EEG experience; familiarity with Natus and Nihon Kohden systems; AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS) Certification; eligible for American Board of Registration of EEG (ABRET) registration.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent.
  • Skills: Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions; effective verbal and written communication skills; working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft or Google productivity suite.
  • Additional Information: The candidate will perform neurodiagnostic procedures on pediatric and adult patient populations in an emergency management (EMU) and intensive care unit (ICU) setting. On-call duties are required to support patient care outside of scheduled hours.
