Job Summary:
The position of Registered Electroencephalography (EEG) Technologist is located at a regional trauma center and comprehensive stroke center in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient electroencephalogram coverage across neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations. The selected candidate will contribute to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality neurophysiological diagnostics within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

  • Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, North Carolina 28801
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Registered EEG Technologist certification, neonatal/pediatric experience, inpatient hospital experience, 4+ years of hospital experience, valid certifications, and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Collodion application experience
  • Responsibilities: Provide inpatient and outpatient electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients, including long-term monitoring, ICU monitoring, and electroencephalography for epilepsy and other neurophysiological assessments
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be team players and self-starters, willing to rotate coverage including weekends and call responsibilities, adhering to unit policies and dress code.
