Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in independence, Missouri.
Travel Emergency Department RN assignment at Centerpoint Medical Center, 42-week contract, 48 hours guaranteed per week, 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 40+ bed Emergency Department, patient ratio approximately 4:1, high-volume environment with 3 rooms and 1 hallway bed, day and night staff include CNCs, team leads, RNs, advanced paramedics, EDTs, MHSC, and secretaries, equipment includes cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, and Lifepak, Meditech EMR, typical procedures include IV starts, phlebotomy, cardiac monitoring and interpretation, 2 positions available.
Required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications must be included in the submission packet, CPI must be completed by 9/30, strong adaptability and teamwork, ability to work effectively under pressure, no RTO or special scheduling, start date 5-7 days from offer, 48 hours per week, rapid response accepts local candidates with local rate requiring confirmation. Preferred: Previous high-pressure work experience, previous medical experience such as RN, medic, or technician experience. RN certification requirements are BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI. Medic requirements are BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI. CPI is required for all staff. RN scrub color is gray top with black or gray bottoms.```
