Job Breakdown – Emergency Department (ED) RN
Facility: South Shore Hospital
Requisition: South Shore Hospital-AN-2525
Shift: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience.
- Current Massachusetts (MA) nursing license required at submission.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- PALS certification required.
- All certifications must remain valid for at least 30 days after the start date.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients.
- Assess patients and prioritize care based on the severity of their conditions.
- Assist with emergency treatments and procedures.
- Monitor patients and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
Call-Out Policy:
- If a traveler unexpectedly calls out for a non-emergency reason, they must make up the missed shift to meet their guaranteed weekly hours.
- Repeated call-outs or abuse of the attendance policy may result in immediate contract termination.
