Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN with required prior ER travel experience and a CT or compact RN license for a 12-hour day shift assignment.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Room Unit of a hospital setting
  • 12-hour day shift from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, 36 hours per week
  • Work every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
  • Participate in call and holiday rotation, working 2 of the 3 major holidays
  • May float to the Psych Hold area
  • Included in mandatory overtime rotation pool as needed for unit coverage

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Connecticut or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI
  • Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior travel nursing experience in the ER required, non-negotiable

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care within a fast-paced ER environment
  • All time off requests must be submitted prior to consideration
  • Minimal or no RTO requested is preferred, as auto-offer applies with 3 days or less of RTO and no holiday RTO
