Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a CA RN license and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

  • Acute care hospital with 200 staffed beds
  • Emergency Department setting with 1:4 patient ratios
  • Variable shift start times including day shift (10:00-22:00) and night shift (1500 or 1900 start), 3x12 hour shifts
  • Required to work every other weekend
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • No floating required between units
  • Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license (Compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
  • Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
  • Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
  • Neurological skills and ICP monitoring experience preferred
  • Triage skills required
  • Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency department nursing care including triage and patient monitoring
  • Scrub color requirement: Solid Royal Blue for RNs

  • Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Local candidates accepted at standard bill rate
  • Local radius rule of 50 miles applies
  • Former permanent employees may return after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside the 50-mile radius
  • All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission
