Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
• EPIC experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Comfort working with pediatric patients in an emergency department setting
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and comply with scrubs/dress code requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to children and families in the emergency department
• Assess patient conditions quickly and prioritize care based on acuity and clinical need
• Administer medications, monitor treatment responses, and document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support timely patient care
• Respond effectively to changing patient needs in a high-volume, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Deliver compassionate care and support to pediatric patients and their families throughout the emergency care experience
