Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3-5 years of recent ED experience in an acute care hospital and current CA RN license.

Details

• Work in a 36-bed Emergency Department within an acute care hospital
• Stroke and STEMI center with varied patient acuity
• Patient ratios of 4:1, with critical care patients at 1:1 or 2:1
• Uses Phillips monitoring equipment and Meditech EMR
• Shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• No floating required
• Required to work every other weekend

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• TNCC certification required
• 3-5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Prior travel or interim experience in CA preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to a varied patient population including stroke and STEMI cases
• Scrubs required with no specific color designation
• Team player personality fit preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• No local candidates will be considered
