Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3-5 years of ED experience in an acute care hospital and a California RN license.

Details

  • 36-bed Emergency Department in an acute care hospital
  • Designated Stroke and STEMI center
  • Patient ratios of 4:1, with critical care patients at 1:1 or 2:1
  • Uses Phillips monitoring equipment and Meditech EMR
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • No floating required
  • Required to work every other weekend

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
  • 3-5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital required
  • Charge nurse experience preferred
  • Prior travel/interim experience working in CA preferred
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Deliver emergency nursing care within a stroke and STEMI center
  • Team player personality preferred for unit culture
  • Scrubs required with no specific color designation
  • Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
