Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Aberdeen, Washington.
Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a night-shift assignment in Washington State. The RN will provide safe, timely, and compassionate care to patients presenting with a variety of urgent and emergency medical conditions. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with solid Emergency Department nursing knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients presenting to the Emergency Department and prioritize care according to acuity.
- Monitor vital signs, patient symptoms, and changes in clinical condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as ordered.
- Recognize clinical deterioration and initiate appropriate emergency interventions.
- Assist with emergency procedures and coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide patient and family education and support.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow established patient-safety, infection-control, and emergency-care protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Current Washington State RN license or eligible multistate RN license.
- Approved 6-hour suicide training.
- Demographic verification through Nursys.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current PALS certification.
- Current TNCC certification.
- Current NIHSS certification.
- Previous Emergency Department nursing experience and strong clinical knowledge.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an emergency care team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Meditech electronic medical record system.
