Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Schedule: Evening shift, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holidays as required. 36 or 48 hours per week available. Block scheduling options may be accommodated (Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday).

  • Comprehensive emergency services for all age groups with 24/7 coverage by a highly trained multidisciplinary team
  • Patient ratios range from 1:1 for critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for general emergency patients
  • 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week
  • Opportunity to work with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff in a collaborative environment
  • Meditech charting system

Requirements:

  • Active Alabama or Compact state RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience (18 months may be considered with 1 year in specialty area)
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
  • Must pass Dysrhythmia Basic exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
  • Must pass Validation Cardiac Dysrhythmia exam on first day of assignment
  • Willingness to float to other units and facilities as needed
