GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in New Haven, Connecticut.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in New Haven, CT. This position offers a unique opportunity for winter coverage, specifically for a 13-week contract starting on November 20, 2026. Local radius restrictions are waived for this assignment, providing flexibility for qualified candidates.
As an ER Registered Nurse, you will work in a fast-paced Emergency Department with an average patient ratio of 1:6 during both day and night shifts. This role requires a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a similar hospital setting, with a preference for candidates who have at least 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
**Important Requirements:**
Travelers will be assigned to one campus, with the possibility of rotating to other campuses. Please note that travelers will not have access to trauma/rescue rooms, triage, or locked behavioral health units.
**Weekend Call Out Policy:** If a traveler RN calls out on their scheduled weekend shift, the shift will be rescheduled as a makeup on another weekend shift within the next 6 weeks. If the traveler RN contacts the Traveler Managers immediately after the missed shift, they may request a specific day for the makeup. Makeup shifts will be scheduled based on department staffing needs.
