Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring a Maryland or compact RN license and at least 1-2 years of ER experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with an average daily census of 130 and 47 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Treats all age ranges from infant to geriatric
• Fast-paced ED environment with complex and varied diagnoses
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:30), with 36/48 hour options
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating required within the specialty
• No pre-scheduled on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required, though 1 year may be considered with strong ER skills
