Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 1+ years of ED experience and multiple specialty certifications including TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS.

Details

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
  • Variable mid and night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
  • 36 hours per week across 3 days
  • Weekend shifts required
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
  • May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
  • Uses Epic for clinical documentation

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Single State or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS (all AHA-issued, not expiring prior to start)
  • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
  • ASN required, BSN preferred
  • Epic charting experience required
  • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
  • Previous permanent employment with any Intermountain facility requires at least one year of separation prior to eligibility

Additional Information

  • Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
  • Conduct ongoing health assessments, patient teaching, and counseling
  • Provide therapeutic and restorative treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, or supervision
  • Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
  • Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans
  • Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Support team mission, vision, and values through professional service standards
