Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department day shift position requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Level 1 Trauma Adult Emergency Department setting
• 13-week contract assignment
• Day shift schedule, 0700-1930
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA)
• TNCC certification preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule
• First-time travelers may be considered
