Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Details

  • Emergency Services department in a hospital setting
  • 23-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
  • Night shift schedule (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • 13-week assignment length
  • May float to other departments as needed
  • EMR: MedHost EDIS
  • Black scrubs required

Requirements

  • Active AZ or compact RN license
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC
  • Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with 1+ years in the Emergency Dept specialty
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • No previous permanent employment with Community Health Systems facilities within the past 2 years

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care to a variety of patient acuities and cases
  • RTO requests limited to less than 1 week, with Labor Day required coverage and a maximum of 1 weekend off
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
