This is a 13-week contract position.
Shifts are scheduled for 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a requirement of working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. The schedule includes 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
The Emergency Department at Fairview Park Hospital has 22 beds and operates with a patient ratio of 4:1. The unit employs a low acuity strategy, assisted by technicians and a unit secretary, ensuring efficient patient care. Key equipment utilized includes life pak monitors, fluid warmers, and rapid infusers. The documentation system used in the unit is Meditech.
A minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience is acceptable.
