Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Free-Standing Emergency Department position requiring TX or compact RN licensure and at least one year of recent ED experience.

Details

  • Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) setting
  • Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
  • 6-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
  • Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
  • TNCC certification required for ER placement
  • CPI certification required for ER units
  • NIH Stroke Certification required for ED staff
  • No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care in a free-standing ED environment
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
  • First-time travelers may be considered
