Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC and a TX or compact RN license at a Level II Trauma Center.

Details

• Emergency Department unit with 50 beds functioning as a Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Center
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses GE Monitors and Belmont Rapid Infuser equipment
• Meditech EMR used
• Team includes CNCs, RNs, LVNs, Paramedics, PCTs, and BHTs on both day and night shifts
• 13-week assignment with a 7A-7P shift schedule
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience required
• Trauma experience preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide emergency and trauma care within a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center
• Perform trauma and ED procedures as part of daily responsibilities
• Positive, team-oriented personality preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
