Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to assigned patients during your shift. Your duties will include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care based on age-specific criteria.
• Utilizing scientific knowledge and clinical skills to make informed judgments regarding patient care.
• Assisting in the planning, direction, and education of non-RN staff such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries.
• Floating to all units within your skill level as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department (ED) required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Active American Heart Association PALS certification.
• Active TNCC certification.
• Nursys must show an active Ohio or Compact RN license.

Work Schedule

This position requires 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.
