Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active OH or compact license and a minimum of 18 months of recent ED experience.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Mid-shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, 10:00am-10:30pm

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC preferred
  • Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department experience required
  • Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the specialty required
  • One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a passing score required (up to 2 attempts allowed)
  • Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
  • Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
  • Assignments limited to a maximum of 18 consecutive months at this health system
  • A minimum 6-month break required before returning for another assignment at this health system
  • Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
