Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend (EOW) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, 65-bed pod-based Emergency Department serving approximately 230 visits per day
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG interpretation, and cardiac monitoring
  • Conduct point-of-care testing, splinting, and patient education across all patient populations including pediatric and acute mental health
  • Accurately document patient care and clinical findings using EPIC ASAP EMR
  • Maintain a 1:4 clinician-to-patient ratio while applying strong critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Float to other areas within the department as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
  • Current AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Proficiency in general ED nursing skills including assessment, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, and splinting

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
  • Prior experience with EPIC ASAP charting system
