GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Florence, Kentucky.

Opportunity:
RN - ED Boarders/Observation
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3 days per week
• Block scheduling may be accommodated but is not guaranteed
• Weekend requirements include 4 weekend shifts per 6-week period (2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays), along with 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays
• No requested time off accepted between 12/15/2026 and 1/5/2027; holiday coverage expected
• Travel partners are not allowed
• Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Experience with pre-cardiac cath and managing ports required
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Active Kentucky or compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Contractors will support ED boarders across the system - patients waiting for a bed in the ED requiring inpatient care
• Float potential between Edgewood and Florence campuses, as well as to Observation Units, Medical/Surgical, and Medical/Surgical Telemetry units as needed
• If insufficient boarders, float to observation units at Edgewood and Florence campuses
• Patient population is adults with a patient ratio of 5-6
• Key skills required include accessing/managing ports, cardiac telemetry, central line care/management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care/management, pre/post cardiac cath, PICC line management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Special equipment includes lift equipment, iPad for communication, and pacemaker interrogation
• Scrubs must be navy blue with no agency or brand logos
• Fingernails must be less than 1/4" in length; natural fingernails required for those in direct patient care (polish is acceptable)
• No nose rings or gauged earrings permitted
• Strict no-call policy in place
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• No cafeteria available; refrigerator and microwave provided on-site
