Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of combined Echo and Vascular experience for an outpatient float pool position.

Details

• Outpatient setting within a system-wide float pool
• Will float to multiple outpatient centers
• Works independently without additional staff support
• Adult patient population
• Performs vascular and echo studies including abdominal aorta, aorta, arterial graft studies, carotid, color flow, Doppler studies, duplex, lower and upper extremity arterial/venous, M-mode, renal artery duplex, and transcranial Doppler
• Uses PACS and Philips ultrasound equipment
• Charting completed in EPIC
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Echo and Vascular required
• Must be registered with both Echo and Vascular; candidates with RVS certification and Echo experience will also be considered
• Must hold registration through ARDMS or CCI as either RDCS and RVT or RCS and RVS
• License required if applicable
• EPIC experience required
• Adult patient care experience required
• Must be comfortable working independently in an outpatient setting
• First-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of vascular and echocardiographic studies including carotid, aorta, arterial graft, and upper/lower extremity arterial and venous duplex studies
• Must be flexible with scheduling and adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• All clinical staff must pass a pass/fail EKG exam during compliance, with up to two attempts allowed
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• RTO must be submitted at the time of application; no requests will be accepted after submission
