Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Tech with 2+ years of experience in stress, transesophageal, and transthoracic echocardiography for a community hospital setting.
Details
- , department across two community hospital campuses
- Community hospital-based patient population
- Caseload of approximately 6-7 patients per day
- Uses Philips EPIQ ultrasound equipment
- EPIC EMR system in use
- Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (also 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM option)
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
- No call requirements
- Floats between Mid Coast and Lincoln campuses as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech required
- RDCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification required
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with Stress ECHO, Transesophageal, and Transthoracic echocardiography required
- IV skills preferred but not required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Perform stress, transesophageal, and transthoracic echocardiograms in a community hospital setting
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude required to keep pace with daily caseload
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility will be considered local
- Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
- Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
- Requested time off should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
