    Key Responsibilities
    • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department within a skilled nursing facility
    • Lead a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team in delivering post-hospital, short-term, and long-term care services
    • Ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance across all rehabilitation programs
    • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support the medical and rehabilitation needs of residents
    • Participate in weekend rotation as part of departmental leadership responsibilities
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted license in Occupational Therapy (OT), Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), Physical Therapy (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), or Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
    • Prior experience as a Director of Rehabilitation or in a comparable rehabilitation leadership role
    • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance requirements in a skilled nursing setting
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience managing rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing facility environment
    • Familiarity with quality award programs or quality improvement initiatives in post-acute care
    • Background working with short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care populations
