Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Rotating Saturday Coverage (Every 6th Weekend) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct nutrition assessments in accordance with the 72-hour nutrition assessment policy
- Perform Nutrition Focused Physical Exams across assigned patient populations
- Participate in ICU Multidisciplinary Care Rounds and Med/Surg Care Rounds
- Manage a daily patient caseload of approximately 10–12 patients
- Float to Acute Care and NICU units as needed
- Collaborate effectively within a team of Registered Dietitians and multidisciplinary staff
Required Qualifications
- Active RD (Registered Dietitian) credential required
- Active Texas LD (Licensed Dietitian) licensure required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
- Proficiency or ability to work with EMR systems (Meditech experience a plus)
- Ability to adhere to dress code: black scrubs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NICU and/or ICU experience strongly preferred
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams
- Experience working within a high-volume, large hospital setting (500+ beds)
