Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement individualized nutrition care for patients in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and clinical guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures related to nutrition and dietetic services.
- Coordinate with the Culinary Services Manager to oversee the delivery of safe and accurate food service to patients.
- Monitor and evaluate patient nutritional status and adjust care plans as clinically appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nutrition assessments and interventions.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) — credential documentation required at time of submission.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Dietitian experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Ability to work a part-time schedule of Tuesday and Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel dietitian experience in an acute care environment.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in hospital settings.
