Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 1 Saturday per month with on-call the following Sunday (rarely called)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient rounds and perform nutritional assessments across a large inpatient dietary department
- Collect and document patient data using the Expanse EMR system
- Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:12
- Collaborate with clinical staff and interdisciplinary teams to support patient nutrition care plans
- Participate in public speaking or educational activities as needed within the department
Required Qualifications
- Active RD (Registered Dietitian) credential required
- Active LD (Licensed Dietitian) credential required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
- Proficiency or ability to work with Expanse EMR
- Strong communication skills with a willingness to go above and beyond for patients and team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Public speaking experience or comfort presenting to groups
- Outgoing personality with a strong team-player mentality
- Experience in a high-volume inpatient or acute care dietary setting
