Experience providing medical nutrition therapy in an acute care hospital or facility preferred. Experience managing, coordinating, or supervising patient nutrition care in an outpatient facility preferred. License: Registered Dietitian credential required within six months of hire. Licensed Dietitian to be acquired within six months of hire. Certifications: BLS required. RD/RD credentials required. Must-Have: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program required. Master’s degree required if the RD credential was acquired after a specified date. Completion of a Dietetic Internship or a supervised practice program approved by an accrediting body required. Description: Hours per week: 36 hours. Days of the week: Monday through Friday. Daily start time: 08:30 AM. Daily end time: 04:30 PM. Essential duties include providing medical nutrition therapy and support to bariatric patients. Demonstrate understanding of current medical nutrition therapy standards for various patient populations. Display strong customer service skills through creative problem-solving and effective communication. Use clinical forms and reference materials as needed. Work efficiently in an environment with multiple demands and short time frames. Ability to work independently with limited supervision is required.
