Must comply with client immunization requirements Must submit to client required drug test Must submit to client required fingerprinting Must complete facility and client required training Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, VSH Policy and Directives and client Standards, Rules and Directives. Duties of the Dietician: Provide nutrition care to individuals served throughout client. Create nutrition plans to improve the health and physical conditions of individuals. Analyzes the individuals’ health status, goals, and dietary restrictions, tracks the patient’s dietary intake and progress and educating patients on how to maintain a balanced diet. Consults to patients, families, and treatment team regarding nutrition needs Writes appropriate nutrition related recommendations in the medical record Approves patients’ menus and provides this information to the Food Service Director
