Dialysis Unit Nurse Phoenix, AZ
This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a dialysis unit. The role encompasses assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote effective treatment outcomes and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or a valid temporary/interim RN license. BLS certification is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care or dialysis setting within the past 12 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing and professional certification in dialysis or related specialty are preferred. Additional education and related experience are advantageous.
- Additional Information: The nurse will perform comprehensive assessments, formulate care plans including discharge planning, administer treatment, and evaluate patient responses. Responsibilities also include documentation, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team. The position may involve supervising staff and coordinating workflow within the department.
