Job Summary
Dialysis Nurse, Dialysis Unit Located in the specialty area of dialysis care, this role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing dialysis treatments. The position entails assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. It requires delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care tailored to the physical and emotional needs of dialysis patients.
Job Details
- Position Description: This role is responsible for assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, reviewing patient history and diagnostics, formulating and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient responses. The nurse will coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team and document all aspects of patient care, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
- Required Qualifications: Current valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification; graduation from an accredited nursing program; experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired; 0 years of experience minimum; location requirements as applicable; and related education and training.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The nurse may participate in research activities within clinical practice, mentor staff, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the dialysis unit.
