Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our healthcare team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented dental professional who enjoys working in a patient-focused environment and supporting providers in delivering high-quality dental care.

key Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting dental providers and ensuring a smooth, efficient patient experience. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assist dentists and other dental providers during examinations and procedures.

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.

  • Prepare patients for dental procedures and provide compassionate chairside support.

  • Assist with dental instruments, equipment, and materials as needed.

  • Take and prepare dental X-rays when appropriately trained and authorized.

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

  • Follow infection-control, sterilization, and safety protocols.

  • Provide patients with appropriate post-treatment instructions as directed by the provider.

  • Monitor and maintain dental supplies and inventory.

  • Support front-office or administrative functions when needed.

  • Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and the healthcare team.

  • Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous Dental Assistant experience /required .

  • Current certifications, licenses, or registrations required by the facility

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
