Description: As an Endodontic Dental Assistant, you will play a critical role in root canal and related treatments. You will prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments while maintaining strict infection control. You will assist the endodontist during root canal and related procedures, including suction, irrigation, and passing instruments. You will take and process dental radiographs/CBCT scans and review patient histories. It is essential to document treatment notes accurately. You will educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures, including providing clear post-operative instructions. You will coordinate with the front office on scheduling, referrals, and follow-up communication with patients. Managing supplies and equipment, including inventory ordering and upkeep of endodontic materials, is crucial. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and safety regulations. Fostering a positive, team-oriented environment is essential in this role.
