Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments for pediatric dental procedures. You will educate children and parents in oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. You will take and process dental radiographs as directed. Maintaining accurate patient records and scheduling appointments is part of your duties. You will assist dentists chairside during dental treatments and ensure patient comfort. Maintaining dental supply inventory and ensuring instruments are properly sterilized is essential. You must adhere to infection control protocols, OSHA compliance, and safety standards. Providing reassurance and comfort to pediatric patients before, during, and after treatment is crucial.
