Key Responsibilities
Screen and interpret cytology slides, with the capacity to review 50–60 slides per day (up to 300 slides per week)
Operate and utilize BD FocalPoint and BD SurePath equipment as part of daily laboratory workflow
Document findings accurately within the EMR system in accordance with laboratory and regulatory standards
Collaborate with laboratory team members to ensure timely and accurate cytological diagnoses
Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Cytotechnology program
ASCP (CT) certification or equivalent Cytotechnology certificate
Minimum of 12 months of hands-on Cytotechnology experience
Proficiency with BD FocalPoint equipment
Proficiency with BD SurePath equipment
Valid driver's license
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with EPIC EMR system
Experience with Sunquest laboratory information system
Professional reference from a charge, supervisor, or director-level contact within the past 24 months
