- Ability to screen up to 80 GYN specimens daily
Description:
Integrates knowledge, theory, and practice to properly execute procedures in assigned areas of the laboratory.
Delivers accurate results in a timely manner.
With advanced training, maintains competence in all Cytology practices.
Performs pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic procedures on biological specimens.
Aids healthcare providers in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of disease.
Job responsibilities include conducting screenings and maintaining quality control for specimens.
Must ensure accurate specimen labeling and identification.
Experience with various specimen types, including ascitic fluid, bronchial, esophageal, gastric, and urine is required.
Knowledge of preliminary diagnosis procedures and quality assurance is essential.
