Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons during invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures. In this role, you will prepare and handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment while maintaining a sterile environment throughout each procedure. You will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team during operations.
Requirements
- Shift: Day Shift, 10-hour shifts
- Specialty Experience:Cardiovascular (Heart) surgery experience is required
- Associate Degree or completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program (Required)
- Previous acute care hospital experience (Preferred)
- Certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) (Preferred)
- Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider (Preferred)
