• Number of Beds 2 heart rooms with a 3 ^rd possible
• Number of Staff 4 RN, 3 CST
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift 1 CVOR RN and 1 CVOR CST
  • Night shift No night shift, on call only
• Patient Ratios 1:1
• Type of equipment -
• EMR Meditech / CPN

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 6 months' current CVOR Tech hospital experience
• BLS
• NBSTA Certification
• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) Certification
• Must have current active KS licensure
• Must be Vascular trained

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• ACLS
• Open Heart and Cardiovascular experience
• Prior Meditech experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• CABG and AVR
• MVR and TAVR

Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

• On call is required 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
