Surgical Nurse - General OR and CVOR

Schedule

This position requires availability from Monday to Friday, with shifts from 06:45 to 15:15. Call expectations are every third day, along with one to two weekends per month.

Job Description

The Surgical Nurse will be involved in both the General OR and CVOR. Assisting in General OR cases when there are no CVOR cases is an essential function of the role. The candidate will assist with clinical duties as needed and care for COVID patients within a tobacco and fragrance-free facility.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in both General OR and CVOR surgical procedures.
  • Care for patients, including those with COVID.
  • Participate in on-call duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum 2 years of surgical nursing experience required.
  • Certifications: ACLS and BLS are required.
  • Epic experience is required.
  • Current RN licensure in the state is mandatory.
  • Previous charge experience is preferred.
