Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Scrubbing and circulating experience required
• Prior experience in a cardiovascular operating room or perioperative nursing setting
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Ability to float as needed
• Strong adaptability, professionalism, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room
• Scrub and circulate for cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery procedures
• Support safe, efficient, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and perioperative team members
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system, including Epic when applicable
• Adapt to varying start times, call requirements, and floating assignments
• Help foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellent patient outcomes
