Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Operating Room – Portland, OR 97225

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). One call weekend per month required. Patient ratio 1:1. Assignment duration of 84 days (approximately 12 weeks).

Requirements:

• Active Oregon RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience required
• Cardiac scrub experience is a mandatory requirement
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers considered on a case-by-case basis with strong cardiac scrub background
• Proficiency in CABG, valve replacements, IABP, VAD, and other cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Must have reliable transportation for this assignment
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
