Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Operating Room – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:00 - 16:30), 36 hours per week. Two operating rooms.

Highlights:

  • Circulating RN role in a Level I Trauma Center cardiovascular operating room
  • 13-week travel assignment with comprehensive orientation provided
  • Work with advanced cardiac procedures including CABG, TAVR, and ventricular assist devices
  • Epic charting system utilized
  • First-time travelers welcomed with 2+ years of CVOR experience
  • Adult patient population in a 2-room cardiovascular OR suite

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of CVOR circulating experience required
  • Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand prior to submission)
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and CNOR certifications required
  • Level I Trauma experience required
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Proficiency in cardiac procedures including CABG, valve replacements, IABP, TAVR, and VAD management
  • Skills in blood product administration, specimen handling, IV placement, and urinary catheterization
  • Must complete onboarding requirements within 48 hours of contract signing
