Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a CVOR position requiring hands-on experience circulating cardiac cases, including CABG procedures.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) on the 1st floor of the main hospital building
• 13-bed unit staffed with 62 total personnel
• Day shift staffed with 32 team members including 1 charge nurse and 1 board runner
• Night shift staffed with 1 RN and 1 CST
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses Meditech EMR
• 13-week assignment with a 7A-7P shift schedule
• On-call requirement of 2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month
• No floating requirement

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR experience required
• Must have proven experience circulating cardiac surgery cases, specifically CABG procedures
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
