Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart specialist position in a healthcare setting. The role involves supporting cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures, including complex cases such as CABG, valve repair/replacement, ECMO, lung resections, and vascular interventions. The position offers a dynamic environment with rotating shifts and requires experienced clinicians committed to patient care excellence.

Job Details

• Qualifications: Certified Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with BLS (AHA) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room open heart procedures.
• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Experience: Must have experience in Cardiac, Thoracic, or Vascular surgery. No new travelers or clinicians with less experience will be considered.
• Additional Information: Clinicians will onboard at Ruby for at least one week before transitioning to Berkeley Medical Center. The role may require floating within other services of Berkeley OR. Mandatory call is required (one night per week and one weekend per month) with a 30-minute response time. Charting is performed in EPIC. Contract durations are open to 13 weeks or longer, with flexibility for direct hire or permanent placement.
