Job Details

  • Position Description: Unit requires a CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) in a specialized suite with an average of 30 cases per day, including open heart, TAVR, endovascular, and thoracic procedures. Scrubbing into surgeries is required to hold the heart and assist in closing the chest.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association) certification, ACLS preferred; license to submit; minimum of 2 years' experience in operating room and open heart procedures.
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM; 12 hours per shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Weeknight and weekend rotation are mandatory, with call response time of 30 minutes.
  • Additional Information: The unit uses Epic electronic charting, with orientation lasting one week. Flexibility to float to General Operating Room or PRN within Zone 1 may be required. Scrub color is hospital-provided light blue.
  • Submission Requirements: Profile review, documentation of licensure, and attendance at an in-person interview with the unit manager are part of the hiring process.
