Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring intra-aortic balloon pump experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

  • 21-bed CVICU unit with 1-2 patient ratios
  • Patient population: adults 18+ with ARDS/pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock
  • 12-hour night shift, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
  • No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
  • Weekend work required
  • Float to Stepdown/ER as needed
  • Uses Cerner EMR
  • Unit creates the schedule

Requirements

  • Active RN license (TN or Compact) required at time of consideration
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Intra-aortic balloon pump experience required

Additional Information

  • Must work 2 of 3 holidays
  • Navy scrubs required
  • No time off approved between 9/19-10/17 due to Epic Go Live
  • Local candidates accepted, though at a lower rate outside a 75-mile radius
