Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ICU Registered Nurse in Seattle, WA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to care for Cardiac ICU patients and overflow from MICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU, with a focus on cardiology. We are seeking dedicated RNs with a passion for critical care and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic charting.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required (TNCC preferred but not required).
• No pending licenses accepted; compact licenses are acceptable.
• Travel pairs are not preferred; candidates should be flexible with unit needs.
• Guaranteed hours: Facility can call off 1 shift per 2-week pay period.
• Weekend requirements: Every other weekend required.
• Floating to other ICUs and border areas should be expected.

Facility Highlights:

• Type of Facility: Magnet/Teaching/Level I Trauma Center.
• Total Staffed Beds on Unit: 23.
• Scrub Color: Blue (facility provided as needed or your own solid color).
• Daily onsite parking cost: $15 (M-F), $4 (Sat/Sun), $5 (Eves), $4 (Nights).
• Offsite parking option available: $10/day, 1 mile away with a 10 min shuttle service operational 5 am-10 pm (weekdays only).
