Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

- Shift: Days, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week may be offered
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Scheduling: Self-scheduling
- Float Requirement: Yes
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 on weekdays; 1:2 on weekends
- Unit: 14-bed Post Open Heart Recovery / CVICU unit
- Charting: Epic
Requirements
- Minimum two years of critical-care experience
- Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- CVICU or open-heart recovery experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
- Must have experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, CRRT, Swan-Ganz monitoring, VADs, TAVR, post-cardiac surgery recovery, cardiac drips, arterial lines, central lines, ventilated patients, ABGs, blood products, and dysrhythmia management
Unit Details
- Cares for post-open-heart recovery patients, thoracotomies, esophagogastrectomies, and TAVR patients
- COVID vaccine not required
- Flu vaccine required; medical or religious exemptions only
